Halimaan's Group's story

Halimaan is 43 years old, married, and has seven children. She couldn’t provide education to all of them due to poor financial conditions. She is very skillful and makes Pranaday, which is a very popular product among women, used to tie up hair. Her husband makes mud utensils. He has great artful hands and makes beautiful looking utensils which he sells to different shops for profits. Four of her children also work. They do different kinds of businesses to financially contribute to the family. Halimaan has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further expansion of her Pranaday making business. With the loan, she will buy thread and beads in larger quantities to make Paranday of different kinds (simple and beaded). She has been operating her business for many years, and is very confident that an investment will help her improve her sales and profits.
