A loan of $1,075 helped to purchase potatoes, beverages, rice, sugar, etc.

Monserrate Filadelfia's story

Monserrate is 40 years old and lives in a periurbarn area called the "fortín" ("fort"). Her business is an eatery located in the front part of her house. She started this business six years ago because her neighborhood didn't have an eatery, so she decided to start one.
She does her work alone and the hours are Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The obstacle she faces is dust, because her street is not paved.
She is in a common law marriage and her husband works as a master bricklayer. They have five children who are 1, 2, 8, 10 and 16 years old. They attend public schools.
She requests this loan to purchase goods such as potatoes, beverages, rice, sugar, etc. Her dream is to build a cement house, expand her business much more and help her children to finish their studies.
