A loan of $525 helped a member to buy clothing to sell.

Duo Renacer Group's story

The "DUO RENACER 2" communal bank is comprised of doña Maria Clara, 43, who is married and has six children. She is the leader of the group and sells elastic blouses as a street vendor and on a door-to-door basis. She has been in business for six years and is requesting a loan to buy more clothing for the October season, when graduations begin and orders for blouses are placed. Doña gloria Esperanza, 34, is married and has a son and is in the business of embroidering fabric and blouses. She also makes and sells aprons. She has been in business for 19 years. She needs a loan to buy fabric and thread. If the customers give her the fabric she only charges for labor but if she furnishes all the materials she makes a better profit. The two women are confident that FAPE can help them. They are committed to paying back the loan on time and hope God will bless them so they can get ahead.
