Mwanadie is a married woman with three school-going children. Her husband is a taxi driver who contributes to the provision of family basic needs. She has a house with neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food for her family and school fees for her children.
Mwanadie has operated a tailoring business for the past ten years; her potential clients are her friends, neighbors, and her area villagers. She faces a major challenge of seasonality where demand is high during the end of the month only. She dreams of expanding her business.
With this loan of 40,000 Kenya shillings (KES), she wants to purchase cloth materials for business. She decided to join Yehu to get capital for expanding her business.
