Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is 39 years old. She is a brave and hard working woman. Elizabeth is a single mother of two children, aged 11 and 6. She lives in a rented house with her brother who splits the expenses with her. Her works consists of the retail sale of essentials, therefore she has a store where she sells these products, as well as ice cream, soft drinks, snow cones, and alcoholic beverages; she even sells minutes for prepaid cellphones. Her business is very varied and is the largest on the block; for this reason, it’s the most popular store because customers find everything there.

She works alone, while her children are in school, but when they don’t have anything to do, her oldest daughter helps her wait on customers. What she likes most about her work is that she has time to do many other things, as she also sells some products via catalog in her free time. Things are going well and her income is good. She hopes to expand her business farther. This will be her second loan with MFP, therefore, she hopes for the support of each one of you. She is very pleased with MFP since with their investment, they give her the opportunity to be able to grow. With the amount requested, she will buy merchandise to stock her store, because she needs rice, sugar, vegetables and some other items. If she buys these in bulk, she will spend less on transportation and will be given a better price.
