Kandema /dianna Malary Group's story

Group Kandéma was created on December 5, 2000, at the inauguration of the "banc villageois" (village bank). Despite several changes, it numbers fourteen diligent and hard-working women, who live in the same village. Their main activity is retail. Mrs. Sarta (sitting all the way to the right) is the group's leader. She is 33 years old. She is married and a mother of three. She retails clothing and fabric in her village and in various weekly markets. She is confident in her abilities, for having been involved in her business for over four years. With her new loan, she is planning on purchasing clothing articles to retail. The profit from this activity will be used in part to increase her savings and to improve her family's living conditions.
