Haïgui Group's story

The Haïgui cooperative group was created on December 3, 2007, and is made up of 16 women from the same neighborhood; their main activity is small-scale sales. Mrs. Alima Dame, the group leader, is 39 years old, married, and the mother of three children, with a total of four children under her care. She sells shoes, cloth, and fruit, and has a good amount of experience. In the photo she is standing at right in a white-and-purple dress and black cap. She buys her products in big cities and the capital, and resells them in her town's central market. With her loan, she wants to strengthen her business in order to earn more money. She helps pay her family's expenses, especially schooling and clothing expenses.
