Soutoura Group's story

This loan group was created on May 29, 2001. It is made up of 15 women who live in the same village. Their main activity is trade.

Madame Fatou M, who is to the right of the photo and has her hand raised, is the leader of the group. She is 63 years old. She is married and the mother of two children. She also cares for two other children entrusted to her by their parents.

She sells vegetables. She has a lot of experience in this line of work after having done it for several years.

This loan will allow her to increase her capital and to develop her business of selling vegetables.

The profits will allow her to help her husband with the children’s educational and healthcare expenses.
