The Sohoueto de Womey group is composed of 23 persons who are all members of a previous group and live in the same area of Benin.
This is the first time this group is requesting financial help from ALIDé in order to increase the level of their activity.

The leader of the group named Thomasia has her hand raised on the photo. She is 53 years old and lives in Benin. She is married to policeman named Antoine. The couple has three children; all attended school and two of them are still under their care. Thomasia and her husband cover the various household expenses. Thomasia attended school up to University. To provide for her needs and those of her children she sells non-alcoholic beverages. In parallel to this activity she also manages a refreshment stand. She gets her supplies in Benin.

With her goal of meeting her customers’ demand and to increase her sales and income, Thomasia, along with the other members of the Sohoueto de Womey group, is requesting a first loan.
