Sao, 44 years old, is a guard in a hotel and earns $4.50 per day. His wife is a farmer who earns $3 per day. They have seven children; four are studying, another two are working and earn $5 per day together, and one more is only 3 years old. Every month, he has to spend $66 on food and $10 on other expenses.
He would like to request a loan of $1,200 to buy a motorbike for traveling to work. He wants to help his wife to have a small grocery shop to sell from after she finishes doing farming so that she can make other income. For his children, he will support them to study English so that they will easily find a job to do.
