Oyuntsetseg's story

Oyuntsetseg is 50 years old and lives with her husband in a ger, Mongolian yurt, in Suhbaatar province of Mongolia. Her children are living separately. Her husband is currently unemployed and is hospitalized after injuring himself at the construction site. She started her business in 2002 by buying animals from the countryside and selling them in the city and local town. She has managed this business for 9 years and she gained lots of work and business experience. She has a car and collects livestock with her car. After collecting several animals, she sells them in the city once or twice a month. Her husband also helps her to manage the business. She is a diligent and open-minded woman who says "I want to live in the countryside. There, I want to have several animals to herd." She is requesting a 1,000,000 MNT loan to buy 20 sheep.
