A loan of $200 helped to buy nutritionally-balanced animal feed and to keep his animals healthy.

Henry Emanuel's story

Henry is 29 years old and lives with his wife and children in his own home which does not receive basic services. His home is located in the rural area of Tambogrande district, in Piura department. The people in this area farm, raise livestock and make handicrafts. Henry has been raising and selling animals (pigs, sheep and goats) for five years. His pens are located behind his home and he feeds his animals nutritionally-balanced feed and natural fodder. Once they have reached an optimal level of growth, he is able to sell them in the different markets in his area and make very good profits with which he covers his household expenses. Henry has requested a loan for 500 soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy nutritionally-balanced animal feed and to keep his animals healthy. His goal is for his animals to be healthy and suitable for human consumption. He will use the income that he makes to repay his loan and improve his standard of living. Henry is a hard-working and dedicated person. The only thing he wants is for his business to continue to grow so that he can provide his family with more conveniences at home.
