A loan of $550 helped purchase more cows.

Flor De Maria's story

Señora Flor is 29 years old and lives with her life partner and two children.

She has been raising cows for 10 years. She used to study, but now she is dedicated to caring for her animals. In addition to caring for her animals, she grows crops. She purchases her supplies in a city in the western part of the country and, because of this, she has to travel an hour. She gets up every morning at 6:00 am to feed her animals and then she puts them out to graze in the pasture. At noon she returns home.

Señora Flor is requesting a loan through Fundación Campo to buy more cows and to increase her income since her milk production will increase. This will allow her to improve her standard of living. She hopes to have a very productive herd so she can sell cheese and give her children an education so they can become professionals.
