A loan of $750 helped to buy more animals of different species and their respective feed.

Ray Rosario's story

Ray is a 40 year old mother. She lives with her daughter in her own house, which does not have basic services. The house is in a rural zone in the Chepén district in the La Libertad department. The zone is known for its agriculture, its livestock, and its tourism.

Ray has been raising and selling pigs for a few years. Their pen is located behind her house. She feeds them balanced feed, and once they have reached their optimum growth she is able to offer them to her customers. She is able to pay the household expenses with the income that she gets.

She has requested a loan for 2,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. She will use the loan to buy more animals of different species and their respective feed. Once they are fattened she will sell them at the different markets in the zone. Her objective is to get more income in order to have a better quality of life.

Ray is a hard-working and very responsible person. The only thing that she wants is for her daughter to get ahead and to have a better education.
