Baekissou's story

Mrs Baekissou is married and the mother of two children: the elder is 23 and the younger 20. None of them attends school. She has six people in her care.

She has been selling pagnes (colorful West African cloth), earrings and cosmetics for seven years. She gets her supplies at the great market in Ouagadougou. Her clientele is made up of women and men. She wants to buy 50 units of pagnes, 30 sets of earrings and 30 boxes of cosmetics.

Mrs Baekissou intends to use her profit to expand her shed. Her ambition is to open a large store for pagnes and beauty products.
