A loan of $375 helped to buy more everyday products.

Edith's story

Edith is originally from the city of Santa Rosa. She is 26 years old, and lives with Renzo, aged 29. They have two children, Renzo and Madeleine, who are aged 8 and 2 respectively. They all live together in their own home, which is located in Santa Rosa. She is an earnest woman, who started working in her parents' farm when she was very young, growing cocoa and coffee.

With time, she realized she wanted to move on to new horizons. For the last three years, she has had her own grocery store which she established herself. Her variety of products and her good prices have gained her customers. Most of the time she sells her products herself, but on occasion her husband helps her out. Her sales location is in their own neighborhood, and she works from Monday to Sunday.

Her plan for the future is to expand her grocery store, with the end goal of being able to sell at wholesale, and in this way be able to earn more.

This will be her sixth loan with MFP, and she commits to continuing to comply with her repayment schedule. She is also satisfied with her communal bank, as they are all responsible people.

With the money she is requesting, she will invest in purchasing more everyday products, with the end goal of being able to stock up her grocery store and so meet her customers' demand.
