A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase seeds to grow corn.

Rene's story

Rene is a farmer who was born in Valle Grande. He’s married and has 7 children. He has his field 20 kilometers from Jorochito in a community called La Planchada where he lives with his children. He’s a farmer. He grows corn, manioc, peanuts, potatoes and sweet potatoes. Everything he grows he sells at a market; he also raises livestock.

The loan he’s requesting is for his peanut crops. This is the first loan he’s requested from the institution and he is very grateful for the support granted.
