A loan of $950 helped to buy chickens to later sell.

Lesvia's story

Lesvia lives in a community that celebrates the Festival of San Felipe during February. She is married to Eliseo, with whom she has had seven children, two of which are already married, and the other five are her responsibility. She is requesting the loan to invest in the purchase of chickens to later sell. She has been doing this work for a year and three months, and it is going well and she has raised good profits. Her motivation has been her family, since she wants to to support her husband with the household income. Even though he has a good job and provides for the family, Lesvia wants to help out with something so he can feel supported by his wife. What she wants most is that with her work and the loan her income will improve and she will be able to acquire some metal sheeting to build a coop so her chickens can be raised in good conditions. With the earnings, she plans to keep making headway.
