A loan of $1,075 helped to purchase more supplies such as flour, oil and butter, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, baking soda, firewood, etc..

Martha Cecilia's story

Martha is 39 years old, and has been married to Isidro for 19 years. They have 3 children, Génesis, Emanuel and Sarai, who are in school. The oldest girl is in her second year of high school, the boy is in his second year of elementary school and the little girl is in her third year of preschool.

Martha has worked making and selling bread for 10 years. She says she was inspired to start this business because she wanted to find a way to support her husband with the household expenses and her children with their studies, and to enjoy a better standard of living as well as economic solvency. She is going to invest the loan money in purchasing more baking supplies, such as flour, oil and butter, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, baking soda, firewood, etc., so she can continue making her products.

Martha says that one of her business goals is to make it grow a little more. She wants to have a bakery shop so she can have a wiD. variety of products, thereby increasing and improving her sales and income, so she can continue supporting her children with their education. "I am very grateful to Fundación Realidad [FRAC] for this great support they have given, so that I will be able to expand the business a little more and have a better quality of life for me and my family. Thank you."
