A loan of $375 helped to buy a thousand cacao plants.

Jasmani's story

Jasmani, 25, lives in the town of Villa Ashaninga, where he made his family together with Lisbeth, his wife. The product of their love, Jack, was born. His only son, they nurture and raise him in their own house. This young father is shaping his future with the job he was taught from the time he was a child, agriculture. His main crops are coffee, cacao, and pineapple, which he has on his two productive fields. He already has seven years of experience and what he likes most is harvest season, since there he can see the ripe fruit ready to be sold in the city of Pichanaki, where he has steady customers. "The harvest is once a year, which is why I work other jobs," he affirms while he says that in his free time he works in a welding and construction shop. There he earns 50 PEN daily, with which he pays for food and his children's education. Now he wants to open his own business, with which he will be able to have better profits, since he wants to shape a future for his family, giving them a better quality of life. He belongs to the Los Naranjales Community Bank, and this is his first loan with MFP, whom he thanks for the opportunity that they are offering him. In addition, he promises to be punctual with his payments. If he receives his support, Jasmani will use the requested money to buy a thousand young cacao plants for his next planting.
