A loan of $725 helped to buy more products to stock her store.

Yolisa's story

Yoliza is 30 years old and lives with Román, 38, with whom she has three children. They live in their own home in the Pichari District in central Peru. She is considered to be persistent and hardworking. From childhood, she worked alongside her beloved parents, who taught her how to run a business.

Yoliza began her own business working on the street until she managed to raise some capital. With her earnings, she opened her own store where she began selling clothes. She is happy with her business because it allows her to provide a good education to her three young children, who help her in her product sales. In the future, she hopes to locate her business in a building in the commercial center where she can reach more customers.

This is her third loan cycle with Kiva partner Microfinanzas Prisma. She is committed to making timely payments on her loans. With the 2,000 soles ($750), she will buy more products to stock her store.
