Virgen Del Pilar Group's story

This Women’s Committee is named “Virgen del Pilar” and was established in 2008 with great effort. The members are in their eighth loan cycle and have worked together in a united fashion as part of the program. In addition to each of their independent businesses, they also developed fundraising activities in which they have worked together in order to accumulate capital for their group. They help one another so that they can accomplish their objectives, which includes providing financial support for their families.

Sra. Flavia sells all types of food. She says that through her work, she has been able to improve in her activities, her standard of living, and her financial income. Flavia says that thanks to her efforts and with the help of her husband, she has been able to grow her business a little bit at a time. She is requesting a loan to buy supplies for preparing her dishes such as meat, chicken, condiments, and other items.
