C 1904 Turwubake Group's story

Daphrose is 44 years old and married with six children, ages eight to eighteen years old. She also takes care of two people. She is the leader of this group which is called “TURWUBAKE” in the local language. She is in the middle in the white dress.

Daphrose sells animals like cows, small fish, chicken, etc., and she has been working for three years. She currently employs one person to help her, and her business is open from 6 am to 6 pm every day.

Daphrose and her group have requested a loan from the Kiva lenders in order to expand their businesses and to purchase many animals such as cows, small fish, chicken, etc. to sell. With any profits from the loan, Daphrose and her team would like to satisfy the basic needs of their families, reinvest in their businesses, and start saving for their futures.

In this group: Daphrose, Jean D`amascene, Aphrodis, Agnes, Seraphine
