Ly's story

Mrs. Ly L., 58, works making beef soup and selling a variety of grocery products to the people in her area, making an average of around $ 5 each day of profit. She started this business in 2000, the time her husband started a running a butchery shop in his area making on average about $3.30 of profit per day.


One of her children works at a garment factory, another one is employed at Thailand as a laborer, and the rest are students.


Mrs. Ly L. hopes to use this loan to purchase more grocery products to expand her growing business and use the leftover money to buy large quantities of cashew nuts from the growers for resale.
