A loan of $200 helped to buy more merchandise to restock her business.

Bertha's story

Bertha is 34 years old and lives in her own home with her husband and children. The only service they receive is electricity. Bertha resides in the rural section of the District of Tambogrande in the Department of Piura. This area is known for having businesses involving farming, livestock breeding, and handicrafts.

For approximately two years, Bertha has been selling groceries of all types that are used on a daily basis such as milk, rice, oil, sugar, toilet paper, tuna, and eggs. She also sells fruits, vegetables, and beverages. Her business is located in her home for her own safety. The income from selling her products is used to cover all of the family expenses.

To keep her business in operation, Bertha is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 500 PEN in order to buy more merchandise to restock her business. Her only ideal is to see her business grow and have more products to offer to her customers. The money she earns will cover her loan and her household obligations. Bertha is a dedicated and hardworking woman who is concerned about having a more comfortable home for her family.
