A loan of $4,300 helped a member to buy meat, chicken, seasonings, etc.

Las Hermanas Group's story

This committee was set up by Fatima who organized her friends and neighbors and created the committee called 'Las Hermanas' (Sisters). The group are currently on their ninth loan cycle with 15 members. This is a group of very responsible and hard-working ladies who are engaged in different business activities. The committee's members are very selfless women who have fought hard their whole lives to get their families ahead in spite of the obstacles they find in their paths.

Here we will talk about Fatima who has been selling food for several years. She gets up very early to prepare her food which she then goes out and sells. She makes her sales as a street vendor and her children help her.

Fatima is requesting this loan to buy meat, chicken and seasonings so that she can prepare the food that she sells.
