Maria's story

Maria is a micro-entrepreneur. Her business is named Variedades Maria; she sells a variety of products. Her business is located in her home where she sells her products to her customers who come to shop there. She also works as a traveling vendor, thus promoting her business. Maria is receiving her fourth loan, which she plans to invest in the purchase of clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and undergarments, among other items. Maria began her business after obtaining her first loan from Esperanza, managing to better herself and establish her business little by little.

Maria is the mother of two children, who she has raised with a lot of effort and hard work. She has always worked and been involved in different businesses in order to help with the family income and cover their necessities. Like all mothers, she would like to see her children grow into good professionals so that they can have their own families.

The most important goal, and her dream, is to be able to set up premises for her business, where she can have a small department store.
