Barracks Ii(B) Group's story

Proscovia is 50 years old and married with ten children. Some of the children go to school while others are working. Her husband is a teacher. Proscovia has a broiler poultry business, and she can see an opportunity of becoming a poultry supplier to restaurants and hotels. With the extra profits, she intends to construct a water tank in her village and start selling and distrtibuting water in order to solve the water scarcity problem. Betty wants to use the loan to expand her shoe selling business. Jennifer has a retail shop and intends to increase stock with the loan. Hadijah sells charcoal, while Juliet is a layer poultry farmer.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
