Elmira's story

Elmira is 45 years old, married and is raising two children. Her husband works as a taxi driver. In order to find a financial support source for her family, Elmira started her own animal husbandry business in 1991, using a starting capital of 35,000 som (KGS). Successfully working in the animal husbandry field and having an income from sales of milk products, Elmira also grows cereal crops on a 1.16 hectare plot of land, which allows her to provide fodder for her livestock and have an additional income from the sale of fodder. In order to further develop her business, Elmira requested a loan in the sum of 55,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai Tushum and Partners" company to buy bulls. She plans to use the resulting profit from the loan to buy construction materials for building her own house.
