Alicia Bertha's story

Alicia is a member of the “Tarpuy” communal bank. She’s 38 years old and has three children. She’s been a member of FINCA Perú for the last five years. Alicia has a bakery and a car wash service. She recalls that she used the first loan buy flour to make bread. She started out with little capital. She has a large locale and had the possibility of setting up another business and that’s where the idea for a car wash came from. The support she got at FINCA was the base for her to make progress. Everything she was able to learn helped her have a good business and now the goal she has is to be able to make some home improvements.
