A loan of $925 helped to purchase grafted cocoa plants.

Raymunda's story

Raymunda is 46 years old and native to San Miguel. She is a sociable and hard-working woman, is married to Guillermo, who is 47 years old, and has six children. Together they live in their own house in the community of Palmapampa. The work they do is till the earth. They own 4 hectares of property and cultivate cocoa and bananas. During the past twenty years of working, Raymunda has become an expert in agriculture. And when harvest time arrives, she counts on the help of laborers who are in charge of harvesting and transporting the collected products a certain distance before later being transferred into smaller vehicles such as handcarts and tricycle carts.
She feels very committed to her work, since, thanks to her efforts, today she enjoys seeing her plants develop and give good fruit. This will be her second loan with MFP, and she is committed to fulfill her payment plan on time, especially since she wishes to be eligible for other loans later. She is confident that she can count on all of your help. She will purchase grafted cocoa plants with the 2,500 PEN [$925] she is requesting so as to obtain better fruit in a shorter time.
