Andres's story

Andres is 40 years of age and married. He attained a grade school education and lives in his own house. He has four economic dependents for whom he is responsable: his children. The main business of the borrower and his family is agriculture. They produce potatos, corn, barley, and wheat in their fields that are found situated in the community of Tuturuya Alto in the municipal of Tíraque, which is approximately 72 kilometers from the city of Cochabamba. The borrower and his wife demonstrate the desire to be able to increase their potato production and for such an effect, they see that it's necessary to request investment capital for the acquisition of seeds and chicken manure (the major organic fertilizer used in this area) in order to improve the yield of the tuber (potato) and in this way, improve the living conditions of his family.
