Khachatur and his wife operate a farm where they breed cattle, pigs and chickens, and raise bees. Also they grow vegetables, beans and wheat. They sell their agricultural produce at the Kapan city market.
Khachatur has a caterpillar tractor, a wheeled tractor, a utility truck, and mowing machine. The last tractor he bought was with money from his first Kiva-funded loan. He uses these implements on his farm and also rents them to people in the village. Now, Khachatur is requesting a 1,000,000 Armenian dram loan to buy hay pressing equipment for his farm.
