A loan of $425 helped to pay his electricity bills and buy trimmings.

Moussa's story

Moussa is 31years old and lives in Senegal. He is married and father to two children who are five and seven years old. He has been developing a tailoring business since 1993 and manages a workshop in the town where he lives. He makes mens' and womens' clothing. He chose this business since he had a passion for it, and his interest is in the beautiful work it involves and the lucrative aspect of it. He has been a member of one of the branches of U-IMCEC (a Senegalese association of mutual savings and loans institutions) since October 2009. He is requesting a loan of 200,000 francs which he will use partly to settle an electricity bill and partly to buy trimmings and equipment which will allow him to make up ready-to-wear clothes for resale. This loan will allow him to increase his profits and improve his family's well-being.
