A loan of $200 helped to purchase dried maize to grind.

Joseph Orudo's story

Joseph is 29 years old and married with a five month old son. He describes himself as hardworking and he provides very quick service to his customers. For the past year, Joseph has operated a poshomill service where he grinds and sells dried maize. His business is located near a quarry area. Joseph states that his biggest business challenge is insufficient capital to purchase stock.

Joesph is requesting a 20,000 KES loan to purchase more bags of dried maize. His business goal is to own another poshomill within five years. He hopes that in the future he will be able to purchase maize directly from the farmers, cutting out the intermediary.
