Kulgaaky's story

"Bai Tushum and Partners" company expresses a sincere gratitude to Kiva investors, who supported and financed Kulgaaky's first loan through Kiva, which was repaid without delays. Kulgaaky is 47 years old, married and has two children. She works as an English language teacher at the local school and also teaches at a university. She is known as a responsible, honest and principled person. As a secondary income for her family, Kulgaaky is involved in animal husbandry and farming. The family business of breeding livestock and growing beans, with which her husband helps, yields Kulgaaky about 9,000 som per month. In order to further develop her business, Kulgaaky requested a loan in the sum of 70,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai Tushum and Partners" company to purchase a cow and pay for beans harvest gathering. She plans to use the profits from the loan to buy construction materials to build a fence.
