A loan of $1,025 helped to renovate his tailor shop.

Yath's story

Mr. Yath is a 40-year-old tailor who lives in Senegal in a community not far from a U-IMCEC branch where he has been a member since August 2007. He is married and the father of eight children, from 1 to 12 years old. He essentially sews women's styles and has been in this business for over 30 years. He chose this business for the love of it and especially per his parents' recommendation. He demonstrates great pleasure in work well-done and in making new things. Mr. Yath has already repaid two previous loans and is now requesting a loan of 500,000 francs for renovating his tailoring shop. His wish is to make his business more profitable, to grow his revenues, and to improve his family's living conditions.
