A loan of $1,600 helped a member to buy clothing, radios and solar-powered items to sell to his customers.

Kimberdaid Group's story

Jadson lives in a town called Gweru. He is 28 years old, married and the father of two children, one of whom is only two weeks old. He makes a living by selling a range of products in the local market, including trousers, radios and items that run on solar energy. The main challenges he faces are lack of money to expand his business and high transportation costs. He will use his portion of this group loan to buy more items to sell to his customers and to pay the balance of the money he owes on his wife's dowry. His goal for the future is to open a chain of stores.
