Sovetkan's story

Sovetkan is 47 years old, married and has two children. Since 1991, Sovetkan has been successfully involved in fattening up and reselling livestock. Starting with a sum of 20,000 som (KGS), Sovetkan was able to develop her business to yield a monthly income of 7,000 som (KGS) and to buy a barn and a house on the outskirts of the village. This location became convenient for feeding livestock and selling milk and meat products. In order to further grow her business, Sovetkan requested a loan in the sum of 55,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company. She plans to invest the profits from this loan into increasing livestock headcount and purchase of fodder.
