A loan of $4,150 helped a member to purchase more second hand clothes to sell.

Mango Group's story

Ahmad, who is in his early 20s, is single. He has been running a second hand clothes business for four years now. He works from 6 am to 4 pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be his third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy more clothes, which he sells from door to door. He also paid the rent for the room where he stays and has paid back all his loans successfully. He wants a loan to increase his stock of second hand clothes to sell. His dream is to one day be able to open a shop to sell his clothes.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Mango", which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
