A loan of $3,625 helped a member to buy fruit for subsequent resale.

Natividad De Maria Group's story

This committee was formed thanks to one of the members. It’s a very good group; all the women are very hardworking and responsible. All of the members of the group are also women who continue forward with their enterprises with much effort and dedication and their greatest wish is to succeed with their businesses and move their children, as well as themselves, forward. Because of this they thank the Fundación for the opportunity it gives them.

Marta is a fruit vendor. She comments that her work is a bit tiring but she likes what she does. Through her demanding work she’s been able to get ahead together with her entire family because thanks to this work she’s able to support them. She comments that she has many customers who always seek her out in search of the fruit she sells.

She asks for the loan to buy apples, pineapples, bananas, peaches and other fruit to stock up and meet customer demand.
