A loan of $3,900 helped a member to buy fabric, thread and other supplies.

Alegria Group's story

The “Alegria” committee was formed a year ago and works with Fundación Paraguaya. All the member are neighbors and friends from this city. They crave a better future for their children, which is why they are working with doubled efforts to put in place what they need for their development and training.

Señora Faustina is a dressmaker. She has been working in this trade for quite a while, and comments that she does very good work, so that people from the neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods come to her with their orders for sewing or bringing her other types of work. She say that thanks to this work and her daily self-sacrifice, she has been able to support her family and cover her daily expenses.

She is requesting the loan to buy fabric, thread, and other necessary supplies for her sewing workshop. She is very grateful to the Fundación for the opportunity they are giving, both to her and to the whole group.
