A loan of $1,775 helped a member to buy cuts of meat for later sale.

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

13 women from the city of Santaní came together with the plan of helping their families through their work. They want their children and relatives not to have to go through the same privations that they have done, and this is why they have decided to organize themselves and enter Fundación Paraguaya's program for entrepreneurial women.

One of the group's members is Señora Matilde. She works as a butcher, selling all types and cuts of meat. She comments that it has taken a while, but she has a solid customer base who always go to her. By means of this business, she has been able to succeed and move her family ahead in life.

She is requesting this loan for the purchase of cuts of meat, beef ribs, and more, with which she can stock up and meet her customers' orders. She is grateful to the Foundation for the opportunity which is being provided to this group.
