A loan of $800 helped to buy chicken and meat.

Luisa Ercilia's story

Luisa has had her own business for the last 22 years; it’s an eatery that’s been growing thanks to the dedication she puts into her work to provide economically for her family. Her husband works managing a firm and he contributes the money he earns with his labor.

She is the mother of three children. One’s married and two go to university. Luisa has been very hardworking. She started out selling fried fast food. In time, she was able to open her dining room with the profits and then with loans from Afodenic was able to expand the dining room. Her specialty is roasted chicken that has become very popular with her customers.

She will use this new loan to buy 250 pounds of whole chicken and 250 pounds of beef and pork since these are the dishes that sell the most. Prices are reduced when she buys wholesale and she can then sell her dishes at affordable prices; this is why her sales have increased daily and this makes her satisfied.
