A loan of $2,325 helped a member buy gift merchandise, including women's garments, and other items to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Del Divino Niño Jesus Group's story

This committee, named “United Women of the Divine Child Jesus,” was formed thanks to the initiative of one of its members, who had heard about the program for enterprising women promoted by the Paraguay Foundation. Afterwards, she got together with her friends and neighbors to create what became the group. All the women united around the proposal of improving their condition of life and that of their families.

One of the members is Andresa who has a notions shop where she sells all sorts of articles, including items of clothing, gift articles, and other things. By means of the store, which generates her income, she can maintain her family and all those who depend on her. Andresa comments that she has a well-developed clientele who always buy from her.

Andresa requests the loan to buy gift articles, items of clothing, and other items to supply her shop, and in this manner, to be able to satisfy her customers. She is very grateful to the Foundation for the opportunity it provides.
