Cumbe Centro (Cuenca) Group's story

The Cumbe Centro Communal Bank is made up of five women and one man who work hard in different activities that allow them to help their families and get ahead with them. Our members live near the parish of Cumbe. This place has a cold climate with a pretty landscape and a view of nature. The people there maintain the culture and traditions of their communities, and they work in commerce, raising animals, and agriculture.

Andrea is one of the members of this group. She is a member of Cumbe Centro Communal Bank. She is 28 years old and single, and lives with her father, who is a driver by profession and works for hire with his own taxi. They share the household expenses, and the house they live in belongs to her father. Andrea has been selling Yanbal cosmetics for six years. She sells her products every day and without a set schedule. She also raises chickens at home.

This is the fourth loan she has taken from the communal bank, and she will use her new loan to buy chickens to increase her business.

Her goal is to have a place to sell her cosmetics.

In this group: María Targelia, Martha Verónica, Dorix Lourdes, Andrea Priscila, Nataly Vanessa, Cesar Gerardo
