A loan of $550 helped to buy chicks.

Flor's story

Flor is 36 years old. She is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and very hard-working woman who lives with her partner. The couple have three children aged 15, 13 and 18 months. They live together in their own home and spend their days educating their children and trying to provide them with a better quality of life.

Flor is engaged in a number of different business activities. She owns a restaurant where she sells breakfasts and juices in the mornings. At midday she sells meals and, in the evenings, she sells fried chicken. She also owns a plot of land, 60km from her home, where she grows products such as cacao and citrus fruits. In addition, she raises poultry. Her husband is the one who supports her the most in her work but her children help too. The work that she is most passionate about is the cooking and this shows in the great flavor that her food has. This gives her a great advantage in her business as she has many customers who come to her establishment.

This will be Flor's third loan from MFP and she hopes to receive your support so that she can continue in her work. She will use the sum she has requested to buy chicks to raise and then turn into ingredients for making her food.
