A loan of $1,000 helped to buy yucca seed and agricultural supplies.

Cesar's story

Señor Cesar was born in the village of El Torno twenty years ago. He is single. He plans to use the loan money to buy yucca seed and agricultural supplies.

Cesar lives in his father's house in El Torno, but once he has the loan he will move to his land in the community of Alto Villa Barrientos, 20 km away from Santa Rita so that he can work the land. He will be able to live on the money he earns from the sale of the produce. He will sell the yucca directly to the consumer.

After he has paid off the loan, Cesar wishes to buy a motorbike with the profits so he can move easily from one location to another. In his free time he plays football and is a fan of Blooming, a team from the town of Santa Cruz.
