Graciose is a 33-year-old merchant living in Rutegama, a village in the province of Muramvya in central Burundi. She has been selling for 15 years local beer made from bananas and sorghum. She is also a farmer. She attended elementary school until sixth grade. She is married to Celison. Together they have three children, with two of them attending elementary school. Graciose will use her loan share of 140,000 Burundi francs provided through Kiva to increase her working capital and buy a large quantity of local banana and sorghum beer for resale. She expects to make a good profit. Graciose is a member of Ubumenyi Community Group.
