С 1999 года Самвел арендует мастерскую, где занимается переработкой древесины. Древесину он закупает у Иджеванского лесного хозяйства и изготавливает из нее паркет, детали для ящиков, плинтусы, а также выполняет частные заказы. Свои товары Самвел реализует в Иджеване, Ереване, а также продает своим постоянным покупателям из Октемберянского (Hoktemberyan) и Эчмиадзинского (Echmiadzin) района.
